astilow saddles and bridles are hand-crafted by our own staff of skilled saddlers. All work is executed "in house" to assure that every facet of the leatherworking process meets the Hastilow standard.

Only superior leathers are used in the crafting of a Hastilow saddle. Clients are offered a choice of the finest English bridle leather, or of Pittards W/R, a water-resistant, soft and pliable leather, which requires no "break-in" period. Pittards W/R is also noted as being extremely durable and wear-resistant.

Many brands of saddles currently being offered are produced for a market. Hastilow saddles are not. Our saddles are custom-crafted for the individual client. The "average" horse and the "average" rider do not exist. The Hastilow firm understands this, and each saddle and bridle is carefully crafted on a custom basis. This "bespoke" service ensures that you are provided with a design of your choice, that offers supreme comfort and proper fit. All Hastilow saddles are supplied to the client with a protective cover. As is appropriate for a product of Hastilow quality, a skilled staff is always available to offer any service that is required to maintain our saddles. The initial re-flocking of a Hastilow custom saddle is provided at no cost to the client.

Black Country Saddlers, Rob Cullen and John Hartley have more than 60 years of combined experience between them, this exclusive knowledge and understanding of saddle manufacture allows the production of the range of saddles.
